We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesforce Presales Lead Consultant with over 10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our business growth by leading presales activities, crafting innovative Salesforce solutions, and ensuring the alignment of our offerings with customer needs. The Salesforce Presales Lead Consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present compelling proposals that demonstrate our value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce Presales Activities: Oversee all Salesforce presales activities, including solution design, proposal development, and technical presentations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, pain points, and business challenges. Translate Salesforce capabilities into business benefits and solutions.
- Proposal Development: Develop comprehensive Salesforce proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and presentations that effectively communicate our solutions' value and benefits. Ensure proposals are tailored to meet client-specific requirements.
- Technical Demonstrations: Conduct Salesforce product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) scenarios to showcase the functionality and value of our solutions. Address technical questions and objections effectively.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Perform market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends, competitor capabilities, and customer demands. Use this information to inform strategic decisions and solution positioning.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with sales, product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of efforts. Facilitate workshops and solution design sessions with clients.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of presales consultants, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their technical and sales capabilities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to foster trust and ensure long-term business success.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and improve presales processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years of experience in presales consulting, with a proven track record of success in Salesforce solution architecture, proposal development, and customer engagement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce solutions. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical background with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new Salesforce technologies and solutions.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into practical business solutions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing junior consultants.
- Certifications: Relevant Salesforce certifications are highly desirable. Other certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or similar are a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and support sales activities.
