Your Role{{:}}

As a Cybersecurity Architect, you are responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the security systems within company's IT network and to develop a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the business objectives. You will also be responsible to implement the best practices in the development of elevating the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validating IT (project / application / cloud / infrastructure / network) architectures and designs for their cyber- & information security completeness
  • Translating the cybersecurity policies and identified IT risks into cost-efficient, future-proof and workable cybersecurity architectures
  • Listing cybersecurity requirements in specifications (Request for Information / Request for Proposal / Statement of Works) or contract proposals of suppliers
  • Active input and substantive steering of major cybersecurity projects such as network zoning & zero trust, identity & (privileged) access management, authentication & connection matrix, vulnerability management, cloud security and OT security
  • Validating cybersecurity service exceptions (e.g.  firewall change requests) and suggesting process & cybersecurity policy optimisations
  • Be an active contributing member in the Cybersecurity Board and represent the CISO in the Architecture Board
  • Providing material for the intranet cybersecurity portal

Requirements

  • A master's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of work experience as Cybersecurity Architect, preferably in a manufacturing set up.
  • An intelligent and analytical person who has an eye for detail
  • Strongly solution-oriented with a constructive attitude to architect cost-effective working solutions
  • Able to write down an architecture not only visually, but also textually
  • Someone who can convey cybersecurity-related concepts to non-security people in a clear manner
  • Broad, proven experience in drawing up and designing cybersecurity architectures and designs, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Architecture Management systems like LeanIX
  • Strong background in one or more of the following domains{{:}} networking, cloud, business applications, MES systems, OT, Identity & Access Management or vendor ecosystems {{:}} Microsoft, Amazon AWS, SAP
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, Zachman are a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English both in speaking and writing
