What’s the role?

We are looking for a Associate Director of Product Design who will drive product design

initiatives on My11Circle.com. The candidate will live and breathe the product, will

need to understand our players better than anyone, and drive design excellence, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate is both

strategic and detail-oriented, has proven product design experience, and is

equally comfortable working with all stakeholders. The candidate comes with team

management experience and is able to effectively get team members to ramp up and

deliver on the planned roadmap. The work environment is fast-paced and results-driven.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the product design team.
  • Drive design excellence, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to influence overall product strategy.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and mentorship within the design team.
  • Be the flag bearer for design language and design philosophy
  • Drive innovation in design processes and methodologies.
  • Oversee the creation of interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts
  • Emphasis on in-app animations and transitions to enhance user experience and give them a wow factor


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of product design experience with a system thinking background.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating skills and achievements with an excellent track record of designing and launching online products.
  • Updated with UX trends, best practices, and design principles.
  • Prior experience in managing a team
  • Attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to empathize with stakeholders and customers alike to deliver “right” solutions.
  • Understanding of online services, Internet and consumer software markets. Appreciation for online games is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Degree in Arts, Interaction Design, or related fields from esteemed institutions.
