Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Vendor Relations and Travel Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and onboarding vendors who offer a wide range of team experiences across India. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, data management abilities, and a strong background in category management. The goal is to build a diverse and high-quality portfolio of team experiences that cater to our clients' needs.


Key Responsibilities:


Vendor Research and Onboarding:

◦        Identify and evaluate vendors for various team experiences.

◦        Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors.

◦        Ensure compliance with company policies.


Data Inventory Management:

◦        Maintain a detailed inventory of all vendor offerings, including costing, availability, and special requirements.

◦        Regularly update the database to reflect current vendor information and new offerings.


Vendor Relationship Management:

◦        Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

◦        Monitor and manage vendor performance.


Cost Management:

◦        Track and manage costs associated with vendor offerings to ensure profitability.

◦        Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality.


Experience Expansion:

◦        Continuously seek out new and innovative team-building experiences to add to the company’s portfolio.

◦        Stay updated with industry trends and competitor offerings.


Collaboration:

◦        Work with the digital team to upload experiences on the website.

◦        Assist the sales team with knowledge transfer and queries.


Qualifications:

•          Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Hospitality, or a related field.

•          Proven experience in category or vendor management.

•          Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

•          Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

•          Proficient in data management and inventory software.

•          Strong communication skills.

•          Willingness to travel as needed.
