Your duties as a FAS include but are not limited to the following:

Complete production tasks on time according to the work schedule, ensuring that tasks are completed with quality and quantity.

  1. Provide technical support to sales and customers by answering technical inquiries, running samples, and providing on-site support.
  2. Support customers in BGI joint laboratory construction, including the laboratory site evaluation, experiment operation, and acceptance check.
  3. Work closely with sales to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions during pre and post-sale, through the provision of technical expertise.
  4. Work closely with the Application Engineer and for delivering support to the customer.
  5. Other tasks assigned by line manager.



The successful candidates for this position are able to demonstrate:

Possess one or more of the following operational skills: Wet lab/bench experience with molecular biology applications such as PCR, qPCR, NGS, clinical research/diagnostic, etc. (NGS experience is preferred);

  1. Possess high execution and teamwork ability;
  2. Good at finding problems and summarizing experience in work;
  3. Have good communication and coordination skills and be able to withstand greater work pressure.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or higher in molecular biology, genetics, or other life science disciplines or equivalent.
  5. Skilled in Microsoft Office software, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  6. Self-motivated and willing to learn new technology and skills.
  7. Willing to work with Chinese colleagues and travel periodically.
  8. Fluency in English language.
