Amazon India is looking for highly customer obsessed, dynamic, highly skilled and innovative program manager to own complex and challenging initiatives to drive significant impact on Cost of Business Waste, Customer Returns, Instock and Product Quality. The ideal candidate is a data-driven self-starter with experience in retail/business, project/program management or inventory planning, having strong track record of delivering results and a drive for challenging the status quo on processes.
The program manager will work closely with both internal and external partners to drive initiatives to improve returns CX, cut down returns to reduce business waste, drive automation and scale through adoption of tools and best practices. Given the nature of the category (Wireless, i.e. Mobile Phones), the role will offer a very dynamic and challenging business environment. This will require a willingness to dive into the details, solve new problems as they arise, leverage high judgment and gut instinct, and look around corners.

The successful candidate should have the ability to work at all levels of detail to accomplish team/organization goals.

Some of the key result areas include, but not limited to:
1- Defining Ops Excellence programs and aligning priorities with partner teams to execute them
2- Owning and Monitoring product and brand performance on key Ops excellence initiatives across Returns, Inventory planning, Product Quality and After sales CX.
3- Deep Dive into complex problems, analyze large datasets and information/feedback from diverse set of stakeholders, to drive logical inferences and actions
4- Think Big and innovative to identify high impact projects to deliver large impact
5- Define project charter, design scorecards, publish project updates/newsletters and track progress.
6- Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on operational milestones, process changes, escalations, etc.
7- Leading Demand Forecasting for Wireless, driving Automation and replicating best practices across sellers and brands
8- Own various business reviews & documents that articulate clearly - program goals, desired outcomes, risks & mitigation plans.

About the team
Wireless Program team is responsible for leading Ops Excellence and Inventory Planning, in order to reduce costs significantly and drive business growth.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
