Asan SAP Project Manager this is what you ll typically do to supportSAP S/4 Hana upgrades: Develop a detailedproject plan that outlines the scope timelines resources andmilestones for the SAP S/4 HANA upgrade.Define the project objectives and deliverables in collaborationwith key stakeholders. Allocate and manageresources efficiently including both internal teams and externalconsultants or vendors. Lead and motivatethe project team fostering a collaborative environment to meetproject goals. Regularly communicate withstakeholders at all levels of the organization providing projectupdates and managing expectations.Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to ensure alignmentand address concerns or changes. Identifypotential risks associated with the SAP S/4 HANA upgrade anddevelop appropriate mitigation strategies.Continuously monitor risks throughout the project lifecycleadapting strategies as necessary. Overseethe project budget ensuring that the upgrade stays within financialconstraints. Monitor and report onexpenditures making adjustments as needed to avoid overruns. Ensure that quality standards are metthroughout the project from initial planning to finalimplementation. Oversee the testingprocesses including unit testing integration testing and useracceptance testing to ensure the new system meets businessrequirements. Develop and implement acomprehensive training program for endusers ensuring smoothadaptation to the new SAP S/4 HANA system.Lead change management efforts to minimize resistance and maximizeuser adoption and proficiency. Oversee themigration of data from the current SAP system to SAP S/4 HANAensuring accuracy and minimal data loss.Work closely with technical teams to address any challengesencountered during the migration process.Ensure that the upgrade complies with industry standards legalrequirements and SAP best practices. Stayupdated with SAP developments to recommend further improvements orupdates postupgrade. Provide ongoing supportafter the implementation addressing any issues or enhancementsneeded. Conduct postimplementation reviewsto evaluate the success of the project and identify lessons learnedfor futureinitiatives.
Jobrequirements Professional certifications inproject management (such as PMP or PRINCE2) aredesirable. SAPspecific certifications ortraining especially in SAP S/4 HANA areadvantageous. Proven experience as a projectmanager ideally with a focus on SAP implementations orupgrades. Experience with SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations or similar largescale ERP transformationprojects. Demonstrated track record ofsuccessful project delivery including managing timelines budgetsand resources. Strong understanding of SAPsystems particularly S/4 HANA and its integration with otherbusiness systems. Familiarity with SAPmodules relevant to the organization s processes (such as MM SDFI/CO PP etc.). Knowledge of SAPimplementation methodologies like ASAP orActivate. Excellent planning andorganizational skills with the ability to manage multiplepriorities. Proficiency in projectmanagement tools and software. Stronganalytical and problemsolving abilities.Exceptional communication and presentation skills both written andverbal. Ability to engage effectively withstakeholders at all levels of theorganization. Leadership skills with a focuson team motivation and collaboration.Experience in change management with the ability to drive adoptionof new systems and processes. Ability todevelop and deliver training programs to various usergroups. Skills in risk identificationassessment and mitigation. Knowledge ofcompliance requirements and best practices in SAPprojects. Experience in managing projectbudgets and financial reporting. Ability tooptimize resources and costs for maximum efficiency andeffectiveness. Ability to adapt to changingproject requirements and business needs.Resilience and problemsolving skills in highpressureenvironments. Understanding of globalbusiness practices and multicultural considerations especially formultinational organizations. Resilience andadaptability in a fastpaced and changingenvironment. Good communication skills(written and verbal) proven team player rolling up the sleeves andgetting involved in the nitty gritty.Bachelor s or Master s degree in from a topuniversity. Able to work within the GMT8timezone
