Job Description or What will you do –
As a Senior QA Engineer, your role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, reliability, and seamless functionality of our diverse range of applications. You will work across a spectrum of technologies, including web applications, API Service, embedded appliance systems, WebRTC, real-time communication mobile and desktop platforms.Your primary responsibilities include: Execution of Delivery Plan: Collaborate closely with the QA Lead and cross-functional teams to execute on the delivery plan, contributing to the successful release of our products to customers. Test Case Creation: Develop comprehensive and detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications, ensuring that all aspects of the software are rigorously evaluated. Automation Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in test automation to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. This automation will enhance our testing efficiency and consistency. Subject Matter Expert: Become the authority in Vidyo Engineering group for test automation and its framework. Chart technical roadmap and goals to improve our team velocity and overall throughput. Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing when necessary to complement automated testing efforts, guaranteeing comprehensive coverage of test scenarios. Defect Identification: Identify and meticulously document defects, issues, and inconsistencies, collaborating closely with development teams for prompt resolution. Effective Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support teams, to align quality goals and priorities and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software. Quality Assurance Best Practices: Adhere to established best practices in quality assurance, including test planning, test case design, and continuous improvement of testing processes. Documentation: Maintain clear, organized, and comprehensive test documentation, encompassing test cases, test results, and defect reports. Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in project scope, priorities, and timelines, ensuring that testing efforts remain aligned with project goals.

Must Have:
Proven QA Achievement: Demonstrated track record of ensuring the quality and reliability of software products over 8+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience. Test Automation Mastery: Over 5 years of dedicated expertise in test automation, prominently utilizing Python, pytest, Selenium, and Appium. Python Proficiency: Exceptional proficiency in Python, encompassing module management, virtual environment handling, and automation scripting. Unix Administration : Proficiency in Unix administration, including bash scripting and Python scripting. Additional scripting languages are recommended. Testing Experience with Various Technologies : Experience in testing systems running Java, Apache, Tomcat, and Node.js. Uncompromising Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to testing, consistently delivering high-quality solutions through rigorous and detail-oriented testing methodologies. Independent Excellence: Demonstrated ownership and independence in QA responsibilities, proactively identifying and resolving testing challenges to maintain product quality. Clear and Impactful Communication: Strong communication skills with a proven ability to effectively convey testing strategies, results, and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentorship and Collaboration: History of actively mentoring colleagues, fostering a collaborative learning environment, and contributing to both technical and professional growth. Systematic Problem-Solving: Proficient in applying systematic and analytical thinking to resolve complex challenges, consistently delivering efficient and effective solutions. API Expertise: Extensive experience testing APIs, SOAP, and WSDL, with a clear understanding of web services testing methodologies. Tested at Scale: Proven experience in testing systems at scale and under stress, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

Cloud Testing: Experience in testing applications deployed on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. QA Certification: Consider certifications like ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or ASQ (American Society for Quality) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Real Time: Experience in testing real-time communication systems, including webRTC. Protocols: Familiarity with testing protocols such as RTMP, SRTP, signaling protocols (e.g., SIP), etc.-
