Job Title: Marketing Director

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Job Summary: The Marketing Director will lead the strategic direction, management, and execution of marketing initiatives to enhance the company's market presence, drive revenue growth, and maintain brand integrity. This role involves overseeing the coordination of marketing, advertising, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives, and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver impactful marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate annual marketing strategies in alignment with the company's goals.
  • Contribute to the creation of the annual marketing roadmap and calendar, defining specific, measurable marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams to develop and refine pricing strategies and marketing plans for new and existing products.
Market Analysis and Research:
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of customer research, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies.
  • Assist in translating business department objectives into brand portfolio objectives, plans, and strategies to support business growth.
Campaign Management:
  • Oversee the execution of marketing plans and projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Monitor, review, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to direct Marketing Specialists, Associates, and the Creative Team in executing projects and activities.
Brand Management:
  • Ensure the integrity of the company’s brand across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Manage integrated marketing communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding across mediums.
Promotional Activities:
  • Develop and manage promotional materials, including marketing prints and collateral.
  • Negotiate with agents, event executives, and media to secure effective translation of marketing materials across different platforms.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of client demonstrations, presentations, and displays.
Database and Analytics Management:
  • Maintain and administer marketing databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Utilize web analytics, SEO, and other web marketing tools to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities and optimize future campaigns.
  • Deliver insightful strategies and presentations to the Marketing Manager, supporting data-driven decision-making.

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in email marketing, web analytics, SEO, and other web marketing techniques.
  • Copywriting: Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a focus on creating compelling and engaging content.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Presentation Skills: Effective in formal presentations and public speaking, able to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances with creativity and innovation, thinking outside the box.
  • Judgment: Values good judgment over ego, making decisions in the best interest of the company.
  • Stress Tolerance: High tolerance for stress, maintaining productivity and composure in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
