Key points

  • They are responsible for ensuringthat the artists have everything that they need to start/completetheir work.
  • Work directly under the APM &Supervisor. Have to work closely with IO TeamPA/PC pipeline TDs and Producers to manage allincoming media and outgoing deliverables.
  • Manage and document the turnover ofshots/assets from client editorial todelivery
  • Ensure that published shots conform tothe current edit
  • Perform shot specific colorcorrections to match editorial reference whenrequired
  • Perform shot retimes to match suppliededitorial reference when required
  • Preparesequence edits for internal team when and IFrequired

Skills required

  • Editing: be reasonably good at usingediting software
  • Editing experience within thefilm and television industry will be a plus
  • Aneye for detail and thorough understanding of techniques fileformats resolutions colourspace LUTs software and technologyrelating to the VFX
  • Working knowledge ofNuke
  • Ability to convert between timecodes andframes
  • Excellent communicationskills
