Drives financial performance in an organisational area by providing
leadership, guidance and support on financial information, business
performance and implementation of strategies

We offer

Take an active role in designing plans for improving area performance and objectives on cross functional basis. Ensure high quality analytical support to support materialization and tracking.

Work with the Area Leadership Team (ALT) to proactively improve performance and create alignment between the overall strategy and actual performance.

Based on standardized MOS data and rolling forecasts managed by the Financial Analysts in the same team, challenge shortfalls to target and opportunities for high performance with recommendations.

Take an active part in the virtual WCA BP forum thereby ensuring that best practices are shared and applied in-order to constantly raise the bar for value adding Finance Business Partnering

Ensure decision making is based on robust data and is underpinned by logical assumptions.

Key responsibilities

Macroeconomic Review: Perform macro­ economic analysis impacting international trade, which helps determine future business direction and provides a view independent of Trade and Marketing.

Market Share: Ensure full visibility on market share developments versus targets within a standard framework and analyze key drivers for market developments.

Market Mapping

Revenue/ profit optimization projects: Conduct deep-dives on chronic revenue application gaps or profit maximization opportunities for local products and services, recommend actions to drive improvements and quantify impact of those actions.

Area business strategy: Support target setting and quarterly RoFo process for the area to ensure that both short- and long-term strategic priorities are catered for.

Best practices: Share and ensure local adoption of best practices across Areas, Regions and Centre including cross-regional work assignments and acting as a focal point for Region and Centre standardization initiatives.

Working with Area and Regional peer group as well as GSC colleagues to deliver robust analytical support, creative thought and shared thinking

We are looking for

Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA degree in Finance

Prior experience (minimum 7+ years post qualification experience) within a business partnering environment, working as part of a business leadership team or in a consulting firm

Experience of working within a Sales, Product or Pricing or business development environment

Proven ability to initiate business improvement projects, influence without authority and confidently impact decision making with the area and region leadership
