PositionSummary:

Paix SoftwareTechnologies is seeking a dynamic and detailoriented Charge EntrySpecialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. Theindividual in this role will be responsible for managingchargeentry production for multiple physicians ensuring accuracy inentering daily charges and handling assigned accounts receivable.This position requires a strong understanding of billingregulations medical terminology and coding requirements to ensurecompliance and maximizereimbursement.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Charge Entry &Productivity:
    • Accurately enterdaily charges for multiple physicians ensuring compliance with allrelevant regulations.
    • Maintain required dailyaccount productivity including thorough documentation and reportingof activities.
  • Client & ServiceKnowledge:
    • Stay informed aboutclients and the types of services being rendered to provideaccurate charge entry.
    • Continuously updateknowledge of governmental and managed care policies and proceduresinterpreting and communicating regulations to ensurecompliance.
  • Auditing & Review:
    • Audit and review accounts for reimbursementaccuracy based on billing regulations medical terminology andcoding requirements.
    • Identify and resolvepatient and insurance issues efficiently andaccurately.
  • Recommendations &Quality Improvement:
    • Makerecommendations to management and actively participate incontinuous quality improvement initiatives.
    • Contribute to efforts to enhance reimbursement processesand outcomes.
  • Compliance &Confidentiality:
    • Adhere toorganizational policies with particular attention to standards ofconduct and confidentiality especially as it relates toHIPAA.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by thesupervisor.

Education&Experience:

  • Education: AnyGraduate (Degree completion is required)
  • Experience: At least 3 yearsof relevant experience in charge entry billing or related roleswithin the healthcare industry.

Skills&Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of medical billingregulations medical terminology and coding requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
  • High attention to detail and abilityto work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using billing software andtools.
  • Ability to work independently andmanage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
