Lantronix is seeking a SQA Engineer I with experience in Web & Mobile applications software testing. A sharp professional with knowledge on Test Rail and JIRA defect management tools. This engineer should bring experience using SVN tools like GitHub, scripting experience with Ruby/Python/Java, and experience with Agile Development Process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Test Lantronix world class IoT Software Web & Mobile applications on the it’s products for network, serial communication, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Cellular technology. Understanding and Analysing Test Requirements. Execute functional test procedures, using established templates and guidelines. Working closely with developers in problem recreation and isolation. Create test cases based on Engineering requirements and planning documents. Create automated test suites for regression testing.  Analyses test results, detect issues, and track root causes.  Review User Interfaces for Consistency and Functionality  Automate test cases using Ruby/Python/Java scripts for Selenium.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's/ master’s degree in computer science or related fields. Test Automation using Selenium Web driver, Appium Test Automation Frameworks. Good Knowledge on BDD and cucumber framework. 5+ years of experience in networking and automation Scripting experience with Python or selenium Strong knowledge on OSI layers Ability to setup equipment for test Write test cases/ procedures and reports defects. Solid Understanding of QA Testing Environments.  Thorough Understanding of Software Development Life Cycles. Strong verbal and written communications skills.  Strong work ethics and have a great attitude. Local to Hyderabad (no remote)
