The Assistant Professor will primarily be responsiblefor designing developing and delivering online courses as well asmentoring and supporting students in their virtual learningjourney.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver engaging online courses thatalign with the institutes curriculum and learningobjectives.

  2. Utilize innovative teaching methods andtechnologies to create interactive and effective virtual learningenvironments.

  3. Provide timely feedback and support to studentsthrough online communication channels including discussion forumsemail and virtual office hours.

  4. Collaborate with faculty members andsubject matter experts to continuously improve the quality ofonline course content and delivery.

  5. Assess student learning outcomes usingappropriate online assessment tools andtechniques.

  6. Participate in faculty development programs andstay updated on best practices in onlineeducation.

  7. Contribute to curriculum development and programassessment efforts related to online educationinitiatives.

  8. Actively engage in academic research andscholarly activities related to online teaching andlearning.

Qualifications:

  1. A Masters degree in Education OnlineEducation Instructional Design or a related field from a recognizedinstitution. A Ph.D. is preferred.

  2. Qualified candidates must have clearedthe National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by theUGC or similar accreditation.

  3. Strong communication and interpersonalskills with the ability to effectively engage and support onlinelearners.

  4. Demonstrated commitment to studentcenteredlearning and continuous improvement in teachingpractices.

  5. Ability to work independently and collaborativelyin a diverse academic environment.

  6. Research experience and a record ofscholarly publications in the field of online education will be anadvantage.
