As a Specialist IT DevOps Engineer you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of software delivery processes and IT infrastructure, contributing to the successful implementation of DevOps practices within an organization

So, what’s the role all about?

Environment Setup and Management: Design, configure, and maintain Windows-based environments for proof of concept (POC) purposesScripting: Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python, and other languages to automate tasks and enhance POC processesTeam Interaction: Collaborate directly with the development and quality teams to understand their needs and build effective processes and strategiesRequirements Discussion: Work with internal teams to discuss and document process requirements, ensuring alignment with technical solutionsDocumentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for POC setups, configurations, and processesAgile Collaboration: Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile principles, methodologies, and tools.

Have you got what it takes? 

BS or MS in Computer Science or related degree 8 - 10 years of experience in software developmentProven experience in a DevOps role, particularly in a POC or customer-facing environmentStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems and network fundamentalsExperience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similarExperience in monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similarScripting experience with languages such as PowerShell, Python, or similarFamiliarity with AWS and Azure technologiesExperience with the Build and Release process and managing deployments in ProductionProficiency in using DevOps tools and processes, including Git, Jira, and SonarQubeExcellent communication and customer handling skillsStrong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

You will have an advantage if you also have: 

Experience with telecommunications/telephonyExperience with call centersExperience with/knowledge of agile development processes
