Echocardiography Technologist-

Technician Job Responsibilities.

  • Prepares for examinations by checking equipment, taking inventory of supplies, replenishing stock as needed, reviewing physician orders and patient schedules, readying recording equipment and inputting patient information.
  • Performs non-invasive routine and emergent infant and pediatric cardiac ultrasound examinations.
  • Obtains history, explains procedure to patient, and uses good judgement in determining if additional images are necessary for proper diagnosis, and provides 2D echo studies.


Education: Diploma or Bachelor
