As a Product Owner / Chapter Lead, we are seeking a talented and experienced technical lead with people management skills for our dynamic data team. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled data engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of critical data assets and tools that support a wide range of analytics use cases.

You will use strong technical skills with deep data domain understanding to coach, guide and support your team to delivery work in scope, on time and ready for production use. You will be ready to provide clear, detailed technical requirements and even hands-on support wherever necessary for achieve deliver target.

You will also be a people leader for the data squad members, with responsibility for performance and people management and accountability for a thriving community of practice among data practitioners.

What will your day look like

Lead and manage a team of data engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.

Drive the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable solutions that deliver data services to support large-scale analytics initiatives.

Brings deep technical data skills and understanding of data techniques across disciplines, including SQL, ETL, data warehouse, Python, performance tuning on MPP data platforms.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the data engineering team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of data assets through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Plans and prioritises the work to be done inclusive of people, process and technology requirements and implications.

Squad leadership, creating a positive team environment for the multi-disciplinary and cross-geo data practitioners in the squad and driving a strong delivery culture.

People manager responsibilities for squad members, including managing performance and growth (with support from a Data Workforce team that will manage capability building programs, recruitment, and onboarding)

Engages with Data Portfolio stakeholders to identify opportunities to collaborate or scale solutions
