Responsibilities and Duties

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure solutions on the Azure cloud platform. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and other tools to ensure high availability, performance, and security of services. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks. Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently. Participate in On-Call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in SRE, cloud computing, automation, and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role, with a strong background in managing and operating cloud-based services, preferably on Azure platform. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, .NET, Java, or Go. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
