Job Title:PartTime Senior ServerAdministrator

JobDescription: We are seeking a highlyexperienced Senior Server Administrator to join our team on aparttime basis (1015 hours weekly) as a mentor trainer and teacher.Daily meetings will get scheduled in which you are going to teachdifferent aspects of IT. You do not have to create anyPresentations Training Material or Slides. The training will behighly practical and a lot break and fix will happen in our owntest environment. No preparation is required. The topics will getdiscussed according to the required skills. The ideal candidatewill have extensive experience with Windows Server 2019 and possessstrong skills in network administration scripting and hybridenvironments. The main role is to support and mentor our team invarious technicalareas.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Manageand maintain Windows Server 2019environments.
  • Handling Errors and PerformanceIssues on Windows Servers via (Eventviewer Perfmon IIS logsetc.)
  • Handle certificate management and setupVPNs (OPNSense).
  • Setup manage aDMZ
  • Support and manage emailrelated topicsincluding Cisco Email Security Appliance (Cisco ESA) and VeritasEnterprise Vault (optional).
  • Provide mentorshipand training to enhance the technicalskills.
  • Collaborate during flexible hours toaccommodate different time zones andschedules.

TechnicalRequirements:

  • Mandatory:
    • Atleast 10 Years of practical ITExperience
    • Extensive experience with WindowsServer 2019.
    • Proficient in scripting languages(e.g. PowerShell Bash).
    • Basic understanding ofhybrid environments with Microsoft 365Cloud.
    • Strong networkingexperience.
    • Coding experience in C or .NetCore. (Optional asBonus)
  • PreferredCertifications:
    • CiscoCCNA
    • Microsoft M365 Fundamentals orhigher

DesirableExperience:

  • Priorexperience in mentoring or teaching technicalskills.
  • Flexibility to work during night hoursand weekends asrequired.

WorkSchedule:

  • Flexiblehours to accommodate a fulltime onsitejob.
  • Available for meetings during night timeson days requiring onsite presence.
  • Moreavailability on offsite days andweekends.
