Could you be the full-time PI Engineer (PI Field Engineer) (IN-PI-05) in [LOCATION] we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and problem-solving expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and supportive teammates.
You'll provide essential field engineering leadership and support to projects and the Product Introduction (PI) team, focusing on investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical and quality issues. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as RAMS, Project Engineering, and Quality teams), drive reliability growth through failure investigation, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing operational equipment malfunctions, defining troubleshooting methodologies, and providing technical guidance. But also, you'll be involved in driving technical Return of Experience/reporting/feedback as support of the Product Introduction Manager.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the PI period, including Commissioning and Warranty phases
Recommending preventative and corrective actions for equipment malfunctions
Providing feedback on technical documentation deficiencies
Advising on customer satisfaction and product performance
Facilitating information flow within the PI Customer Site and project teams
Applying EHS requirements on site with the support of EHS team representatives
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Graduate in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in English
Knowledge of railway safety & RAM
Familiarity with EHS practices
A mindset for continuous improvement and learning
Experience in technical roles, either mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
Strong analytical skills with a knack for data analytics

Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
Work with new security standards for rail signalling

Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you
