Understands cost targets /estimates and develops delivery plans including tough choices and recovery plan (if required) in line with program cost & budgets. Understands and actively supports program sourcing strategies in line with purchasing, finance and program timing needs. To work very closely with supplier product development teams during proposal development To work closely with design studio teams to review the feasibility of surfaces released and providing feedback and issue resolution.  Overall project management  Tracks AIMS & Concern status and supports timely close-out of issues. Providing analyses and resolutions on faults and/or errors  Communicate issues with key stakeholders in a professional manner. Supports and enforces program specific milestone approvals. Supporting CAD, DPA and Physical Design Verification (DV) testing to support Engineering Sign-Off Support onsite launch support both domestic and international as well as VO Assembly Plants Support homologation / regulatory testing at test locations like ARAI, NATRIP etc. Able to successfully bring cross functional team together across different cultures & time zones to ensure repeated delivery of your own & shared objectives. Highly proactive - able to demonstrate & inspire a 'can do' attitude. Show strong emotional maturity & resilience. Able to see the big picture with a strong drive to reach the right outcome for the business. Able to guide & coach younger, less experienced team members. Strong & consistent communicator, able to tailor appropriately. High level of integrity in maintaining work-plans and issue status. Able to hold oneself and others accountable for delivering against plans and prior commitments. High level of autonomy – able to work with little supervision but knows how to escalate at right time. Able to lead a small team if required and deputize for the section Supervisor. Hands on Design and Release Experience in plastics trims especially in commodities like Cowl grille & extension dash panel (Plastic), Plastic spoilers, Door Appliques, Black out tapes, badges, decals, washer bottle, bumpers,   either in a OEM or Tier 1 supplier Package and/or CAD (CATIA V5 / Unigraphics / TCE / VisMockup) experience is essential. Experience in Engineering Plastics material selection  Demonstrated ability to lead the issue resolution process. A broad understanding of all major vehicle systems and a customer focused mindset is required to facilitate this process. High energy, self-starter, with the ability and desire to take the responsibility to deliver results with minimal supervision. Ability and courage to effectively communicate key issues and make informed recommendations to senior management. Team player with a positive, flexible can-do attitude and innovative mindset. Excellent in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point  Ability to lead and work with a cross functional team across international time zones.  Work closely with suppliers/engineering/manufacturing/purchasing/quality/craftsmanship to ensure the lowest cost and best quality solution. Knowledge with Automotive design processes / Systems engineering  Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing  Excellent project management skills to work with the team(s) to meet targets and objectives on time.
