Our R&Ddivision is growing globally and we are looking for a skilled andexperienced Senior PCB Layout Engineer to join ourPCB Layout Design team at the new R&D site in BangaloreIndia.

The PCB Layout Design teamis responsible for the layout designs of all theHardware products/projects and you will work with our PowerElectronics and Mechanical Engineers. The work includes workingwith Power Analog Digital and Communication circuits.

This position is very challenging and you willwork on several projects under a tight schedule and in a dynamicenvironment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including Hardware and Mechanicalengineers production site and product managers to ensure optimalintegration of power electronics into overall system design.
  • Design anddevelop PCB layouts for powerelectronics systems including but not limited toPower Inverters converters EV chargers and other power managementsystems.
  • Apply best practices for highpowerand highfrequency PCB design including layer stackup optimizationthermal management and EMC/EMI mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct PCB designreviews simulations andanalysis to ensure reliabilityperformance and compliance withindustry standards.
  • Selection of PCB materialsand components considering factors such as performance costavailability and manufacturability.
  • Stayupdated with latest PCB design tools technologies and methodologiesto enhance design efficiency and product innovation.
  • Work closely with manufacturing partners toresolve any PCB fabrication and assembly issues.
  • Drive results within constraints of Productlife cycle development and production at scale.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus onachieving tangible and measurable results.

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Bachelors degreein Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • 5 Years of experience in PCB design forpower electronics applications.
  • Proficiency inPCB design software (e.g. Cadence OrCAD Allegro Altium etc.)
  • Strong understanding of power electronicsprinciples and components familiarity with industry standards andregulations related to power electronics and PCB layout design.
  • Experience with thermal and mechanicalconsiderations in highpower PCB layout design.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities andattention to detail.
  • Excellent communicationand teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctionalteams. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistanceduring product development. Stay up to date with the latestadvancements in power electronics and firmware technologies.
  • Experience in the renewable energy or powerelectronics industry is an added advantage.
