Description: A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
EAD is looking for an Field Service Technician to assemble test andtroubleshoot subsea electrical components. These products includein house connectors and sensors as well as third partycomponents.
The technician who takes this position willsupport onsite installation commissioning and refurbishmentactivities. As part of global entity you will work closely withproduct line managers and engineering support from locations aroundthe world to deliver the highest quality service from our Houstonfacility. The technician will review drawings and quality programsand then apply various testing methods to execute the projectrequirements both on land and offshore.
How Youll Makean Impact (responsibilities)
Interface directly tocustomers to answer questions and resolve issues
PerformRoot Cause Analysis on system failures
Liaise withengineering teams on design changes and troubleshootprojects
Assist with shop production and refurbishmentactivities when not in the field
Ability to work inremote locations independently
Must be proficient inplanning workload and specific tasks and be able to achievecompletion dates
Mechanical assembly of subsea hoseassemblies and distribution units
Leak testing oilfilling and electrical testing of assemblies.
Operatinghyperbaric chamber to FAT completed projects.
Minimaltravel if any as this position is geared more towards staying inthe production shop.

What You Bring(requirements)
Minimum 5 years of experience related tooil and gas environment
Flexibility for varying workhours and demand to meet urgent delivery dates
Strongorganization and excellent time management skills
Strongverbal and written communication skills
Strong computerbackground both productivity and industrial software
Experience with electrical test equipment and software
Maintain high regard for safety and quality while performingtasks
Keep and maintain credentials such as TWIC PortBadges BOSIET Passport
Understanding of subsea hydraulicand communication systems
