Business Information:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Assist PGGA Global Supply Quality manger in applying all the Product Compliance related process in all the HUBs globally. Provide periodic data and support with Analytics.

Your responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure all the products remain fully in compliance with Hitachi Energy standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

Research & navigate complex product regulations to ensure the product compliance which are sold across the globe.

Communicate with cross functional departments and educate them on crucial product compliance requirements.

Research safety and regulatory compliance concerns regarding new products or the expansion of existing ones ,and communicate the findings to the production and management teams.

Take part in Product Quality Risk Assessments projects to spot and quantify safety and compliance risks, and develop mitigation plans

Developing and providing employee training on compliance policies, practices, and reporting systems.

Collaboration closely with other functions/experts, Product Management and R&D thus ensuring the product compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Develop strategies & implement plans for achieving the compliance to various regulations. Institute best -practice procedures for compliance and processes.

Maintain the reports on product compliance for various products in portfolio across different factories.

Extensive usage of SCMIS & SAP Ariba.

Your background:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics.

Must have 5-6 experience.

Experience in Product compliance, product management, sustainability management, SCM.

Knowledge of Environmental Compliance regulations (RoHS, REACH, Prop 65, WEEE, etc.).

Proficiency in English language.
