PrimeFunction:

• Responsiblefor overall supervision planning control and coordination of allactivities of the team engaged in the operations of thedepartment.
• Ensure that the beverages preparedand served in the assigned area are according to standard recipesand with excellentquality.

• Ensure to attendto guest complaints requests or inquiries regarding theservices.
• Any matter which may affect theinterests should be brought to the attention of theManagement.

KeyResponsibilities:

PeopleManagement

• Motivateand develop staff to ensure smooth functioning of the departmentand promoteteamwork.

• Achieve guestsatisfaction and organizational profitability through effectiveutilization of all resources.
• Establish andmaintain seamless coordination & cooperation with alldepartments of Novotel Mumbai to ensure maximum cooperationproductivity morale and guest service.
• Ensureto train the team according to established procedures and alsoensure that the team has been trained for all safetyprovisions.

FinancialManagement

• Identifyoptimal cost effective use of the resources and educate the team onthe same.
•  Assist the F&BManager to prepare and submit in the required format allinformation necessary for budgeting timorously andaccurately.

OperationalManagement

• Ensureto upgrade & update with the trends practices and equipmentin food and beverage preparation and service in thebar.
• Ensure to set up the equipment and preparemiseenplace in accordance with barpolicy.
• Improve sales volume in all outlets bymeans of uptodate marketing menus (seasonal and special) festivalsand special promotions.
• Ensure on a daily basisthat all the amenities are properly arranged prior toservice.
• Ensure to possess working knowledge ofwine cocktail and mixing all beverages.
• Ensurethat daily beverage inventory journal bar opening and closing stockare noted and initiate requisitions in accordance to theestablished par stock.
• Ensure that Food& Beverage Associates maintains cleanliness and miseenplacelevel at bar counter bar cabinets shelves floor and service pantryfor smoothoperation.
