OverviewAs a StaffNurse with ICU exposure you will play a crucial role in providinghighquality care to critically ill patients in the intensive careunit. You will be responsible for closely monitoring patientsadministering medication and collaborating with the healthcare teamto ensure the best possible outcomes forpatients.KeyResponsibilities
  • Performcomprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized careplans
  • Monitor and record vital signs symptomsand medical history
  • Administer medication andtreatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Respondquickly and effectively to emergencysituations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinaryhealthcare teams to ensure holistic patientcare
  • Provide emotional support and education topatients and their families
  • Ensure compliancewith established protocols andprocedures
  • Participate in continuous trainingand professional development
  • Conduct patientand family education regarding disease process andmanagement
  • Assist in the implementation ofnursing care plans
  • Document patient careservices by charting in patient and departmentrecords
  • Maintain a safe and clean workingenvironment
  • Participate in quality improvementinitiatives
  • Support and mentor junior staffmembers
  • Adhere to ethical and legal nursingstandards
RequiredQualifications
  • Bachelors orAssociates degree in Nursing
  • Valid nursinglicense
  • Proven experience in a critical care orICU setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support(ACLS) certification
  • Patient assessment andcare planning skills
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remaincalm and focused in highpressuresituations
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Proficiency in medicalsoftware and equipment operation
  • Knowledge ofrelevant health and safetyregulations
  • Continuous learning and commitmentto professional development
  • Ability to workeffectively within a multidisciplinaryteam
  • Adherence to ethical and legal nursingstandards
