Ciklum is looking for a SOC Analyst to join our team full-time in India.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.
An Information Security Analyst handles all aspects of IT security (Information, Cyber and Physical), implementing corporate IT security standards and practices and ensuring that IT environment and employees follow those rules. Proceed Security Requests according to the established processes.
Responsibilities
Monitor security alerts and logs to detect potential security threats and vulnerabilities Assist in the investigation of security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents Use SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to collect and analyze logs from various sources Create and maintain documentation related to security incidents and investigations Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and regular security audits Participate in security awareness training and promote cybersecurity best practices within the organization Use ticketing systems to log and track security incidents and their resolution
Requirements
Recent graduate in IT / cyber or information security space, having 6 months of professional experience would be a plus Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and practices Ability to communicate clearly and articulate technical information effectively Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in tasks Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, and security protocols Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as part of a cybersecurity team
