Responsibilities
  • Design develop and deploy dataintegration solutions using Informatica BDM to ingest transform andprocess large volumes of data from diversesources.
  • Collaborate with data architects dataengineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirementsand translate them into technicalspecifications.
  • Implement best practices fordata quality data governance and data security within InformaticaBDM solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issuesrelated to data ingestion processing and performancetuning.
  • Participate in code reviews testing anddocumentation activities to ensure highqualitydeliverables.
  • Stay uptodate with InformaticaBDM and big data technologies trends and bestpractices.
  • Participate in designing buildingtesting and implementing security systems including identifyingsecurity design gaps in existing and proposed architectures andrecommend changes orenhancements.

Musthave skills
  • Minimum 4 years ofdevelopment and design experience in Informatica Big DataManagement
  • Excellent SQLskills
  • Handson experience of working with HDFSHiveQL BDM Informatica Spark HBase Impala and other big datatechnologies.
  • Experience of design developmentof BDM mappings in Hive mode for large volumes ofINSERT/UPDATE.
  • Experience in complex ETLMappings to load data using transformations such as SourceQualifier Sorter Aggregator Expression Joiner Dynamic Lookup andConnected and unconnected lookups Filters Sequence Router andUpdate Strategy.
  • Ability to debug InformaticaKnowledge of tools such as Sqoop andKafka.
Goodto have skills
  • Knowledge of datagovernance tool Informatica EDC isdesirable.
  • Experience in data governanceactivities particularly corresponding to data lineage datacatalogue data discovery & metadatamanagement.
