Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Technology Asset Manager to join our team at R3 Consultant. As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle management of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and we are looking for a candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience in IT asset management.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in IT asset management
  • Knowledge of IT asset management tools and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Certifications such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) are a plus


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures
  • Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from procurement to disposal
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate inventory records and license compliance
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to optimize IT asset utilization and reduce costs
  • Perform asset tracking and analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms for software licenses and hardware purchases
  • Ensure data security and compliance with software licensing agreements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on IT asset-related issues
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management
