JobDescription:

As aDevOps Engineer in a SaaS company your primary responsibility willbe to build and maintain the infrastructure necessary to supportthe companys software applications and services. This includesworking closely with software developers system administrators andother stakeholders to ensure that the infrastructure is securereliable scalable andcosteffective.

JobResponsibilities:

  1. Designingbuilding and maintaining cloudbased infrastructure such as OracleGCP AWS or Azure

  2. Managingthe companys CI/CD pipeline to ensure code changes are deployedquickly and reliably using tools like Jenkins YAML andManifest.

  3. Automating processusing deployment on Kubernetes cluster for less manualintervention.

  4. Proficientwith Dockerbased container deployments. Experience in working onDocker hub creating and managing multipleImages.

  5. Experience withConfiguration Management tools like Ansible. Like configuring thenew roles and playbooks for new migrationtasks.

  6. Good knowledge ofversion control systems like Bitbucket Git orGitHub.

  7. Monitoring theinfrastructure and applications using tools such as New RelicSite24x7 Prometheus etc. and responding to alerts in a timelymanner.Handson experience in creating managing and backing SQLdatabases like MySQL Cloud SQK Oracle SQ MSSQLetc.

  8. Collaborating withsoftware developers to optimize application setup performancemonitoring maintenance and troubleshootingissues.

  9. Handson experienceon web servers like Apache Tomcat NGINX Apache HTTPDetc.

  10. Generalizing processfor ease deployment to clientside.

  11. Maintaining lowdowntime of servers by Monitoring cloud infrastructure and servicesincluding configuration scalingetc.

  12. Responsible forhandling requests based on incidents and providing technicalsupport to other teams within the company and endusers asneeded.

  13. Developing andimplementing security protocols and policies to ensure dataprotection andcompliance.

  14. Staying uptodatewith emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloudcomputing.

EssentialQualifications:

  1. Graduate inComputer Science/ Information Security or relatedfield

  2. Strong background inLinux/Unix systems administration scripting languages such as Bashor Python.

  3. Experience withcloudbased infrastructure and virtualization technologies such asKubernetesandDocker.

  4. Comfortable workingin a fastpaced environment and have excellent communicationcollaboration and problemsolvingskills.

  5. Experience in SaaScompanies is aplus.

  6. Musthands on experience with cloud platforms like Oracle GCP AWS orAzure
