Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Team player with excellent collaboration skills, with a fantastic can-do attitude.

• Self-driven, with an aptitude to learn and keep up with the latest in NodeJS.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing on the Node JS framework including:

• Very good knowledge and strong skills in developing Node JS application

• Good knowledge of TypeScript, React, and GraphQL

• Knowledge in technologies such as NodeJS frameworks like ExpressJs or Nextjs or Remix, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery etc.

• Good experience with REST APIs implementation

• Good experience with the MEAN stack and the application architecture MVC would be a plus

• Good knowledge of HTML, Stylesheets (CSS3, SASS), and Cross-browser development (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)

• Proficiency in NodeJS microservices

• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks

• Experience in Agile Scrum

• Experience in implementing applications in cloud using server less functions, services etc.

• Experience in implementing unit tests for NodeJS or PHP

• Experience in performance tuning of Nodejs or PHP applications and writing high performance code

• Experience in addressing quality/security issues in Nodejs/PHP code

• Good exposure towards test-driven development while using the industry best practices with an ability to write new test suites

• Produce code that is easy to read and maintain.

• Proven track record in software development environments and experiences of end-toend project lifecycles.

• Proficient in co-coordinating with teams and clients across different time zones.

• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio

• Overall, 9 to 14 Years of IT experience.

Desirable Experience & Knowledge

• Knowledge in ecommerce platform like Commercetools, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify etc will be preferred.

• Knowledge in technologies such as Vue.js, React.js, Remix, Nextjs for creating apps
