With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is driven into the heart of the development process from requirements definition through to deliveryDesign, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure and providing automation expertise to our development teamsContribute toward predictable delivery of quality releaseResearch, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of increasing automationMentor team members on Automation frameworksProactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve themBe meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test resultsEnsure that all tests are executed and give regular feedback to the team lead on the status of qualityUse appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software qualityWorks with less structured, more complex issuesServes as a resource to othersComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

B. Tech. / MCA / M. Tech (16+ years of formal education)Total experience of 7+ years with solid technical background and 4+ years of experience working in Java or JavaScript / Typescript OR QA automations. Java or JavaScript, Typescript, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright Experience in Selenium/Cypress/PlaywrightHands-on coding experience in Core Java, J2EE, spring ecosystemExperience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiativesProficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.In-depth knowledge implementing test automation using either UFT, Selenium or SPOCKSolid working knowledge of TDD and BDDKnowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, RabbitMQ, OpenShiftThorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environmentsThis role includes 30% of coding and 70% support - Bi-weekly rotationalShift - 2nd shift - 3pm - 12am IST
