We are looking for a Sr QA Engineer for One of the most innovative and high-profile Data teams in News Corp . You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills over time, contributing to the success of the team and the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand the business and functional requirements.

● Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on customer requirements and/or feedback

● Document results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality

● Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing) ● Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization

● Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes

● Manage testing efforts across multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines

● Mentor and provide training assistance to Associate QA Engineers

● Identify, communicate, and escalate issues as required

● A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team

● Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Familiarity with programming languages and SQL to allow for defect triaging and automation

● Desire to learn new technologies

Qualification:

● A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience

Must Have:

● At least 5+ yrs quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments

● Minimum 2+ yrs experience on SQL using Athena or Bigquery, and good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts

● Basics of Web UI Testing

● Familiarity with testing BI Reports like Tableau or PowerBI Good To Have:

● Understanding of testing Soap and Rest APIs using Postman

● Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium

● Familiarity with document database like MongoDB or documentDB
