Summary:

Seasoned Project Engineering professional working independently. Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue. Coordinates with other functional organizations. Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet deadlines and optimize performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets.
  • Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules to ensure smooth project operations.
  • Forecasts project revenues, monitors costs and re-estimates project costs on a monthly basis to maximize project profitability and ensure business targets are met.
  • Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance and increase efficiency of work.
  • Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.
  • Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
  • Gather information about running releases from Jira - Create and maintain dashboards/plans in Jira to analyze current release statuses and information quality - Align directly with Software Project Managers (SW-EPLs) regarding Release statuses and information demands - Support in preparation of steering meetings (Software Project Steering, Software Release Roadmap Synchronization) - Support in preparation of Mgmt. Presentations (Release Roadmaps, Release Scopes, Escalation appointments) - Consolidate input from internal business stakeholders (P&S, Technical Service, Service Organization etc.) - Standardization and continuous improvement of Software Portfolio Management processes

Basic Qualifications:​

  • Completed Master's (university) degree in the fields of computer science, mechatronics, electrical, energy and thermal engineering (at least 4 years of university education and specialist knowledge)
  • Professional experience in Software Project Management methodologies - Fluent English speaking - High expertise in Jira regarding creation and management of Jira-Tickets, creation of dashboards including usa of Rich Filters (Optional: Familiar with Jira Add-On: Jira Plans) - Ability to create Top-Level Mgmt. presentations in PowerPoint/ Google-Sheets
  • Abstract technical software content for stakeholders in a suitable manner - Good communication and conflict management skills - Sense of responsibility, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Mandatory: ≥3 years experience as project manager in Software projects
