Overview:As aNeurosurgeon you will play a critical role in providing surgicalcare for patients with neurological conditions. Your expertise andprecision in performing surgeries on the brain spinal cord andperipheral nerves will directly impact the wellbeing and recoveryof patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team todiagnose and treat conditions utilizing the latest technologicaladvancements and research in the field.KeyResponsibilities:

• Performing complexsurgeries on the brain spinal cord and peripheralnerves
• Evaluating patients medical history andconducting physical examinations
• Ordering andinterpreting diagnostic tests such as MRI CT scans andXrays
• Developing treatment plans and discussingsurgical options with patients
• Collaboratingwith other specialists such as neurologists andradiologists
• Ensuring the surgical team isprepared and informed about eachprocedure
• Assessing and monitoring patientspostsurgery for complications
• Continuingmedical education and staying updated with advancements inneurosurgery
• Participating in research andclinical trials
• Providing mentorship andtraining to medical students andresidents
• Remaining compliant with legal andethical standards in healthcare
• Participatingin departmental meetings and contributing to strategicplanning

RequiredQualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)degree
• Completion of residency inneurosurgery
• Board certification inneurosurgery
• State medical licensure andprivileges to practiceneurosurgery
• Demonstrated expertise inperforming neurosurgical procedures
• Strongclinical judgment and decisionmakingabilities
• Excellent handeye coordination andfine motor skills
