The incumbent will beresponsible for managing the complete implementation and executionof multiple programs
mapped to the role. The incumbentwill be accountable for end to end project management which willinclude but
not restricted to program management on theground execution stakeholder engagement budgeting donor
management compliance profit analysis systems integration andoperations. One critical aspect of the role will be
topartner with various stakeholders like government semi governmentclients implementation partners internal
stakeholdersand ensure effective and efficient execution of programs acrossvarious thematic areas.
Responsibilities
Leadthe strategic alignment direction and implementation of variousprojects and programs across regions
and build andimplement the operational roadmap in alignment with the 1 to 3 yearstrategic plan.
Bring together multiple stakeholdersespecially the government companies implementation partnersand
international aid agencies.
Lead thedevelopment adaptation testing and mainstreaming of best/goodpractices in needs assessment
project designimplementation monitoring & evaluation andresearch.
Work with implementation partners andunderstand the on ground challenges operational bottlenecksand
help them with strategies and solutions to executivethe project smoothly.
Ensure optimal coordination andcollaboration of team members with relevant teams and contributionto
relevant organisational initiatives.
Provide regular valueadded reports that identifies & tracksthe status of programs projects milestones and
deliverables. Ensure effective and efficient program monitoring;reporting processes are in place and
implemented for allprogram activities.
Ensure that lessons learning andresearch around program quality is carried out and used forprogram
quality improvement. Have and institute thehighest standards of client impact and client service be arole
model and mentor on these dimensions.
Drive a culture of coaching and mentorship to facilitate capacitybuilding of teams Skills required:
15 years of experience inonground implementation in the social sector. Consulting experiencewill be
helpful
Comfortable with ambiguityand rapid change. Should be able to work in a fast pacedenvironment.
Stellar planning with the ability toprioritise amidst various / sometimes conflicting priorities. Adeptat
scoping out length and difficulty of tasks andprojects and an ability to break down process steps
Ability to bridge the gap between the nonprofit and forprofitworlds. Exposure to strategy CSR and private
foundationswould be a definite advantage. Passion for the development sectorand the communities we
serve is a must.
Strong project management and operations experience is a mustability to manage complex multifaceted
projects withdiverse stakeholders is a need.
Demonstrated success ofdeveloping and evaluating program models and selecting andoperationalizing
programs with focus on efficiency andefficacy of the programs.
Strong knowledge of thedevelopment landscape in India and around the world including anindepth
understanding of the roles of variousstakeholders (government academia internationalinstitutions
foundations nonprofit and corporateorganisations).
