Location- Silvassa (Gujarat)


Experience Minimum 10 years in Stainless Steel Plant as a Works Manager.


Job description


Technical Knowledge :


* Knowledge about Machining process.

* Knowledge about Jigs & Fixtures.

* Knowledge about Tooling

* Responsible for execution of Production planning in line with production targets - Daily weekly and monthly

* Knowledge about different Machining Operations like Drilling, Tapping, Threading, Trimming

* Knowledge about the Machining equipment's like SPM, CNC, Press Machines,

* Knowledge about Machining defects, its causes & remedies.

* Responsible for cost control, Manufacturing, Quality and manpower handling.

* Poke yoke& Mistake proofing.

* Maintaining multi skilling status of workers & plan for their training to improve Line efficiency

* Delivery(daily fill rate),Quality(rejections),Safety(closure of NCR's), Productivity(daily productivity against designed productivity),Cost(direct operational cost) Moral of employee , HR ( Admin & IR )

* Responsibility for solving all daily operational issues:

* Should monitor daily plant performance and seek to find gaps in performance.

* Counsel and direct the PGOs/Line owners as necessary.

* To effectively deploy departmental goals in consultation with the Plant manager.

* At frequent intervals arrive to specific action plans based on the performance of staff under him with respect to individual KRA's


Safety/EHS


Ensuring adherence & monitoring of all safety rules and regulations as per policy on the shop floor.

Capture safety proactive opportunities and implement suggestions & update safety officer Accident-free days-Effective implementation of 5S / EHS through awareness to operators & team members with provision of resources in case of an accident, analyze the cause, identify corrective & preventive measures with the help of the production mgr & report the accident as per the system to the safety officer.
