JD Java Backend

Position Details

Weare looking for developers who are willing to keep growing with thebusiness.

You are expected to develop andoperate APIs for inbound travelers to Japan which reaches 40million in 2025. In order to do that you are expected tocollaborate with your team members product managers frontendengineers and related teams (e.g. payment rewards membership) tolead the renewal from the current website toward success.

Post renewal you are expected to improve features andperformance of APIs continuously. You are also expected to providestable APIs for travelers and partners by finding issues withmonitoring alerting collaborating with support engineers.

You will be a role model for the next generation engineerswith your technical skills and lead growth of theorganization.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Technical Skills /Experiences

  • 5 to 8 yearsof experience
  • Experience of web APIdevelopment and operation with Java and Spring Framework ismust.
  • Experience of web API development onLinux
  • Experience of designing tables andqueries of RDBMS (e.g. Oracle) for high performanceapplications
  • Experience of team developmentwith VCS (e.g. GitHub / Bitbucket) and pull requests.
  • Experience of code review and design review
  • Experience of improving architecture performance analysis/ tuning
  • Knowledge of web API operationperformance improvement and security
  • Experience of designing architecture and choosingtechnology stack (e.g. middleware)
  • Experienceof automation test (e.g. xUnit / xSpec)
  • Skillsof database design considering architecture for severalsystems
  • Experience of interface design of webAPI

  • Experiences to find issues and improve performance ofmiddlewares by analyzing source codes
  • Experiences of microservice architecture
  • Experiences of development of web application frameworkor libraries
  • Experiences of launching newservices or challenges in growth phase of services
  • Knowledge of tracking Cookie
  • Experiences of all aspects of application lifecycle (e.g.planning requirement definition
