JobDescription:

  • Must beeligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SecretClearance
  • Experience at all levels will beconsidered. Positions at various Engineering levels will be offereddepending on experience level.
  • Experience inmilitary platform avionics and mission systemintegration.
  • Experience with test developmentand execution.
  • Experience with UAS waveformspecifications (MILSTD STANAG4586 CDL etc.)
  • Experience in developing customer deliverables includingdata flow models and system design documentation(CAMEO).
  • Specific experience with some or allof the following is preferred:
  • Autonomous andAdvanced Teaming MannedUnmanned Teaming (MUMT) Targeting WeaponsEO/IR Sensors
  • Modular Open SystemsArchitectures Model Based Systems Engineering Open Standards (e.g.Future Avionics Capability Environment (FACE)
  • Demonstrated engineering intuition critical thinking andcomfort with ambiguity
  • Must have strong oraland written skills as this position involves working with a diverseteam of experienced professionals customers andsuppliers.
  • Must have the ability to workcollaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to definecrossfunctional interfaces and conduct air vehicle level tradestudies as designs move from concept to production.

PositionResponsibilities:

  • Supportall phases of development from initial proposal development throughsuccessful design qualification integration testing flight test andproduction.
  • Creation of system architectureand system schematics.
  • Collaboration with BellEngineers from other disciplines to include electrical power flightcontrols propulsion airframe structures rotors fuel hydraulics anddrive systems.
  • Analyze and resolvehardware/software integration issues as they arise.
  • Creation of system performance specifications interfacecontrol documents and test plans/procedures.
  • Development of test requirements to drive systemsintegration lab and flight test aircraft instrumentationdesign.
  • Perform hardware and softwareintegration testing of multiple systems operating together in asystems integration lab.
  • Coordinate betweenBell engineering teams suppliers and customers.

EducationRequirements:

  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering or a Science Technology or a Math (STEM)discipline is required. Major in Electrical Engineering or SoftwareEngineering is preferred.
