Cyber Security Analyst

JobOverview:As a CybersecurityExpert at Riverhouse Technologies you will play a crucial role inensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of ourinformation systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2years of practical experience in cybersecurity and possess a deepunderstanding of current cybersecurity threats and mitigationstrategies. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams toimplement and maintain robust security measures conduct riskassessments and respond to securityincidents.
Responsibilities:1.Security Implementation: Deploy manage and maintain securityinfrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection/preventionsystems and antivirus solutions.2. RiskAssessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify andaddress potential securityvulnerabilities.3. Incident Response:Develop and implement incident response plans and leadinvestigations into security incidents orbreaches.4. Security Audits: Perform regularsecurity audits and vulnerability assessments to identify andremediate potential weaknesses.5. SecurityPolicies and Procedures:* Develop and enforce security policies andprocedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations andstandards.6. Security Awareness: Providetraining and awareness programs to educate employees oncybersecurity best practices.7.Collaboration: Work closely with IT and development teams tointegrate security measures into the overall technologyarchitecture.8. Monitoring and Analysis:Monitor security logs and alerts analyze trends and respond topotential threats in realtime.9. Researchand Development: Stay informed about the latest cybersecuritytrends technologies and threats and make recommendations forcontinuousimprovement.
Qualifications:1.Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or arelated field.2. Minimum of 2 years ofhandson experience in cybersecurity.3. Solidunderstanding of cybersecurity principles best practices andindustry standards.4. Experience withsecurity technologies such as firewalls intrusiondetection/prevention systems antivirus solutionsetc.5. Knowledge of risk assessmentmethodologies and tools.6. Familiarity withregulatory requirements and compliancestandards.7. Strong problemsolving andanalytical skills.8. Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills.9. Relevantcertifications are a plus.
