RoleDescription
This is a fulltime onsite role for a PHPLaravel Developer at WHY Global Services located in Egmore. The PHPLaravel Developer will be responsible for backend web developmentobjectoriented programming (OOP) frontend development softwaredevelopment and programming tasks. The developer will be involvedin concept design strategy development implementation and supportof variousprojects.
Responsibilities:
Developand maintain web applications using PHP Laravelframework.
Collaborate with the development team to definedesign and ship new features.
Write clean efficient andwelldocumented code following Laravel bestpractices.
Troubleshoot debug and fix issues in existingapplications.
Perform code reviews to ensure code qualityand adherence to coding standards.
Optimize applicationperformance and scalability.
Stay updated with the latestLaravel releases and bestpractices.
Requirements:
Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (orequivalent experience).
Proven experience as a PHP LaravelDeveloper or similar role.
Strong understanding of PHP andthe Laravel framework.
Proficiency in frontendtechnologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript andjQuery.
Experience with database systems such asMySQL.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and webservices.
Good understanding of version control systemspreferably Git Docker.
Excellent problemsolving andcommunication skills.
Ability to work independently and aspart of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Nice toHave:
Experience with other PHPframeworks (e.g. Laravel).
Knowledge of frontendframeworks/libraries (e.g. React.js).
Understanding ofAgile methodologies and software developmentlifecycle.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWSGCP Digital Ocean
Contribution to opensource projects oractive participation in developercommunities.
