Detailed description:

The project coordinator is responsible to work with the Network infrastructure and adjunct teams to organize and assist the implementation of new network projects from initiation through completion. Working in a team environment, the project coordinator will organize meetings, take notes, manage schedules, and ensure all materials and needed information is on track to meet project timelines. The role is essential to the launching of new projects and the project coordinator must display strong and consistent organization skills. This position will resolve issues to ensure project goals are met. This position will handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

Help create plans for systems development and operations, hardware, and software purchases.

• Monitors current projects from initiation through completion and coordinates all planning

• Coordinates with vendors and alternate teams, providing a single point of contact for projects.

• Communicate timeline changes, new information to team and adjust schedules as needed.

• Ensures project results meet department technical, timing and cost deliverables

• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

• Works to continually improve project processes and research and identify best

• Ensure projects align with set strategies and budgets.

• Provides sound judgment for solving complex technical issues

• Effectively communicate problems to management with solution recommendations

• Tracks and analyzes project risks and recommend improvements.

• Responsible that project documentation is accurate, detailed, properly filed, and stored

• Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to leadership.

• Records minutes and takes detailed notes during project and team meetings.

• Strategizes with management on various project initiatives when needed.

Supplemental Job Functions:

Oversight of vendor monthly billing to ensure it meets contract terms.

• Maintains familiarity with currently implemented Network technology, including hardware.

• Provides clear communication and documentation of events, processes, and procedures

• Communicates and monitors compliance with existing practices.

• Follow-up and resolution of open items pertaining to project and operational issues.

• Work with purchasing, security, and application teams to ensure consistency in delivery follow-up.

• Provides support and ongoing reinforcement of change management policies
