We are currently seeking

a Software Engineer 2 specializing in full stack web application development to join our JLL Technologies Research Engineering team. You’ll be part of the team responsible for delivering a new cloud-based data management platform for our EMEA Research business as well as modernizing the existing global Research Portal, with the aim of streamlining how commercial real estate data is collected, managed, and delivered to both internal stakeholders and external clients, many of whom are some of the largest global investors of commercial real estate.

What this job involves

As a Software Engineer at JLL Technologies, you will be part of the team tasked with developing, launching and supporting the new EMEA Research data management product as well as modernizing the existing global Research Portal. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Designing and developing complex web and business components, APIs, database stored procedures and reports for assigned modules. Enhancing complex database scripts for dynamic formulas used in the calculation of various CRE metrics. Working closely with the data engineering team to support data integration work between various source systems and the application. Performing unit testing, system integration testing and assisting with user acceptance testing. Working closely with product management and product design to turn requirements into working features. Contribute to innovation by developing prototypes to test how new technologies like generative AI can be used to enhance user experience and productivity in existing products. Delivery on Engineering organizational priorities in the areas of enterprise architecture, security, dev ops and infrastructure. Provide on-going support to existing products.
