Responsibilities

Oversee several key groups with the Technology organization around data primarily around business intelligence and data architectureEstablish domain expertise and best practices in each of the aforementioned teams.Evaluate and adopt best of breed tools around data.Define and oversee metrics and objectives that will drive teams towards successPossess a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle as it pertains to dataWork collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to foster a one-team mindset.Establish communication standards within Technology and the greater company business units.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.8+ years in the software development disciplineParticipated in multiple areas of the software development process around dataSolid understanding of the Agile or SCRUM development process and software release processes.Must be a self-starter who is highly organized, hands-on, and a team player.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, startup environment.Experience working with data-oriented and business intelligence tools including o Data ETL technologies (Qlik Replicate, DMS) o Data Visualization technologies (Tableau) o Data Warehouses (Snowflake) o Database Technologies (SQL, NoSQL)Detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication.
