JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, Airport Sector (based in Delhi), and the position will work closely with the Chief Legal Officer handling legal issues with regard to high stake transactions and contracts including fund raising exercises. Primarily responsibility includes contract management and regulatory litigation which impacts revenue of airport sector at business unit level. This position is as critical as Jay Mishra who handles bid and new business because funding / due diligence etc. for new business will be handled by this position. Further, he will act like think tank on regulatory issues which is most critical component of legal function in airport sector. A close working relationship with the Airport Sector Legal Team will also be required for effective deliverables

  • Handling high stake transactions in airport sector including fund raising, due diligence, acquisitions, etc

Timely closure of transactions.

  • Drafting, vetting, negotiating and finalizing contracts of various streams with regard to functions of the airport and its joint ventures

Risk mitigating legal structuring

  • Deal in regulatory issues at sector level in line with government policy

Build pre-emptive advocacy framework

  • Have a process/systems oriented outlook with the ability to work under pressure and in structured timeframe

  • Provide regular support for day to day requirement of the department

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS •LLB minimum. CS qualification is added advantage.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE • Years minimum of experience in contracts and corporate laws
