AI/ML Engineer - Your Role
As a member of the CTO AI/ML team at Juniper Networks, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data science and machine learning. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, building sophisticated models, and creating infrastructure that powers AI-driven solutions across Juniper’s products, services, and internal systems.
Your Responsibilities
Design and Enhance AI/ML Functionality: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, enhance, and develop AI/ML features within Juniper’s offerings. Create scalable and high-performance models that automate network and cloud operations, optimize capacity planning, and elevate the overall customer experience. Agile Development Environment: Thrive in a dynamic Agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and contributing to iterative development cycles. Continuous Learning and Problem-Solving: Dive deep into complex problems, demonstrating an intense eagerness to learn and innovate. Document architectural decisions, procedures, and processes, actively contributing to process improvement. Optimization and Evaluation: Regularly review product code and architecture for optimizations and performance enhancements. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the AI/ML platform. Project Collaboration: Participate in project planning, estimation, prioritization, and cost-benefit analysis. Collaborate with colleagues to influence technological direction through both hands-on work and technical leadership.Your Qualifications
Educational Background: Hold an MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or related quantitative fields. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with data and model pipelines, as well as AI/ML infrastructure platforms. Proficiency in software engineering tools such as Git, Jenkins, and code review tools. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or other container management solutions. Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and technical troubleshooting skills. Manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Collaboration and Leadership: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, influencing technological decisions. Be a self-driven individual contributor while also excelling as a team player.Preferred Qualifications
AI/ML Ops Experience: Familiarity with AI/ML Ops systems (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.
