Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.

Job Details:

Role: Associate Process Manager – Settlement | Full-time (FT) | Financial Markets| 

Location: Mumbai– Maharashtra – India 

Shift Timings: NAM (6:00 PM to 4:00 AM IST)

Minimum Academic Qualifications: Graduation (B. Com /BBM) / Post Graduation (M.Com/MBA/PGDM)

Experience Span: 3 to 6 years of experience in Settlements

Process/Activities with Experience: 

Good understanding of Trade Life Cycle and Settlements function. Experience in Pre & Post Settlements across various asset classes - Securities, Structured  Should be well versed with Settlement cycle and market / regulatory practices for trade settlements  Knowledge of SWIFT messages used in Asset Services Strong capabilities in MS Word and MS Excel. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of the team Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)  Excellent interpersonal skills  Ability to work with teams across time-zones and cultures  Organized, detail oriented, flexible, self-starter & highly motivated Should be able to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations Good with numbers and ability to derive information from data Excellent multi-tasking and creative problem solving Should be able to independently handle client communications, set expectations with client & discuss daily, weekly & monthly reports with clients Should be able to train, coach, mentor other members of the team

Financial Products Knowhow: Fixed Income (Coupon Payables) and Dividends

Tools/industry utilities: Preferred hands-on & understanding of Euroclear and DTCC systems.

Reporting/Client Management: 

We follow a practice of managing reports & matrices within deadlines and with 100% accuracy. Understanding the requirements, data to be used & distribution list on the reports. Reporting the BAU & KRIs to senior management & client. We give utmost priority to our clients and their requirements, adhere to the requirements and follow a strict procedure of reporting

Role and Responsibility:

As part of our Corporate Action team, you will be working with our client partners to improve processes and controls that build capacity and scale. Your role will be to execute process functions and liaise with various internal teams such as settlements and client rep teams along with counter parties for processing claims, validating event details, processing dividends and coupons. Supporting managers in handling daily issues and assume the role of a process SME. Handling and resolving queries related to corporate actions.

Managerial role in independently managing back office operations Client Management – establish self as a valued partner and work closely to achieve goals defined Independently handle all client escalations and lead mitigation steps to prevent future escalations Grooming A’s and SA’s to manage process and risk effectively Set goals and targets for team and give effective feedbacks on performance Manage training, onboarding, resource allocation, delivery management, performance appraisals, mentoring etc. Help knowledge management endeavor by sharing process knowledge and best practices within the teams Build domain expertise and lead from the front  Lead various quality initiatives  Responsible for Business continuity, transformation and various audits
