JobSummary:
The Environmental Health andSafety (EHS) Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the
company complies with regulations and best practicesincluding waste reduction recycling and
proper disposal.The EHS Officer will conduct risk assessments develop policies andprocedures
and monitor compliance with relevantregulations and standards. The EHS Officer will also be
responsible for managing waste management systemsdeveloping and conducting training
programs and reportingon the companys EHS management practices andperformance.

Roles andResponsibilities:
Develop and implementpolicies and procedures including guidelines for waste reduction
recycling and disposal
Manage waste managementsystems to ensure that compliance is properly sorted stored
and disposed of in compliance with applicable regulationsand standards
Develop and conduct training programs toeducate employees on the risks associated with
the work.Develop trainings modules to educate collection partners andvendors
Establish communication channels withstakeholders including regulators customers and
suppliers.
Identify and evaluate emergingtrends and technologies related to EHS management and
make recommendations to the company on ways to improveits practices and reduce its
environmentalimpact
Monitor and report on the companys environmentalperformance including its progress in
reducing its impacton the EHS problem
Review the Material Recovery FacilitySite Plan Structural MEP Drawings with respect to
theEnvironment and Safety.
Support the Construction Managerand team with the required Safety Policies and
Documentation.
Draft and implementation of EHSPolicies at the Material Recovery Facilities
Providetrainings to operational Staff with respect toEnvironment

Education andExperience:
Bachelors degree inenvironmental science Occupational Health and Safety or a related
field
At least 46 years of experience in EHSmanagement
Strong analytical and problemsolving skillswith the ability to conduct risk assessments
and developstrategies to mitigate risks
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with
stakeholders
Strong project management skillswith the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Officeand other relevant software applications
Ability to workindependently and as part of a team with a strong sense ofinitiative and
selfmotivation
