The Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Cloud infrastructure remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving cloud-based incidents, service requests and alerts. The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA). This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity to ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of clients' cloud infrastructure and services.

This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

Min 5 to 8 years of experience in managing and maintaining AIX infrastructure. Good troubleshooting skills in AIX - Lpar, Dlpar, HACMP,HMC, NIM, VIO etc AIX Certification

Job Description :

Strong knowledge and must have hands-on experience on AIX, VIO and HMC VIO upgrades/adapter firmware upgrades/VIO failover/maintenance procedures HMC updates/frame upgrades/Live partition mobility/DLPAR/troubleshooting HMC issues Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers. Support AIX OS to run various software applications. Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS. Develop procedures for AIX security and management. Develop performance improvement initiatives for AIX system environment. Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects. Perform maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability. Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Should be ready to work in 24X7 Shifts Flexibility to work outside of Business Hours to support any critical issues Knowledge on and ability to follow Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management Process. Ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities Excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple geographically dispersed teams
