Overview:The BOPFConsultant plays a crucial role in designing developing andimplementing solutions using the Business Object ProcessingFramework (BOPF) within the SAP environment. They are responsiblefor understanding and translating business requirements intotechnical solutions ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness ofbusiness processes.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Design develop andcustomize BOPFbased solutions for various business processes withinSAP.
  • Worked onABAP.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders togather and analyze requirements for BOPFbasedapplications.
  • Implement BOPFbased data modelsand business object definitions.
  • Integrate BOPFwith other SAP modules and externalsystems.
  • Perform unit testing and supportsystem integration testing for BOPFsolutions.
  • Create and maintain technicaldocumentation for BOPFbased solutions.
  • Providetechnical guidance and support to the development team on BOPF bestpractices.
  • Identify and troubleshootBOPFrelated issues and performancebottlenecks.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAPBOPF features and functionalities.
  • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of BOPF solutionswith business goals.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in SAP BOPFdevelopment and customization.
  • Strong knowledgeof ABAP programming language and objectoriented programmingconcepts.
  • Experience in designing andimplementing SAP business object datamodels.
  • Proficiency in integrating BOPF withother SAP modules such as SAP ECC SAP CRM or SAPS/4HANA.
  • Ability to design and develop complexBOPFbased workflows and rule sets.
  • Experiencein performance tuning and optimization of BOPFsolutions.
  • Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
  • Strong communication andinterpersonal abilities to collaborate with business stakeholdersand technical teams.
  • Relevant SAPcertifications would be aplus.
